It is now the end of a very exciting week. Compare Sat Nav has been developed and despite not yet having all the web feeds installed and not all the content I want, it is presentable to the public.
So what happens next?
I will first finish the web feeds. There are another half a dozen which are predominantly web-only retailers. These should have some great prices on sat nav systems due to the low overheads.
After the feeds are live, it is a case of a long and slow SEO campaign. The unfortunate part of website development (for me) is the SEO. This is mainly because it is so time consuming. It really could be a full time job in itself and so the problem here is limiting the SEO efforts to an effective yet efficient campaign.
The website needs more sticky elements to keep visitors coming back. Remember the 10% theory?
"10% of visitors will click on a link, and 10% of those will buy" [care of me!]Well, this means that I have to convince as many of the remaining 90% that they want to click. This could be by informing them of a competition or deal, or by having some other means of doing so.
