Okay, hands up - who was it?
The postie delivered a copy of NUFC.Com Toon Diary 2009 (Spiral-bound) care of Amazon as a gift. It came in a nicely wrapped package with a gift tag that simply read "canny bag of tudor".
I had no idea what that meant but thanks to Wikipedia, I now know.

With the help of another affiliate, we reckon it's someone who may either live up north or was born up north, supports Newcastle United, perhaps Geordie or uses Geordie phrases (re: the crisps) and is looking forward to 2009, with it being a diary and all.
That's as far as our mystery solving skills go. It may or may not be someone in affiliate marketing. It may or may not be someone in the UK. That's all we've got :-D
Anyhoo, thanks to whoever sent it but it would be really nice to know who you are. Now don't be afraid - come clean!
As for the rest, any guesses?

@Lammo - Chris thinks it's not Buy.at but that did cross my mind at one stage.
The mystery continues....

I'd climb a moontain for a bag of tudor crisp's.
David, it must be buy.at, since their offices are in the centre of the toon and a stone's throw from the infamous bigg market.
I'm jealous I never got one!
Cheers
Mally

Lammo
I also had the mystery Geordie parcel arrive this morning.. My skills of deduction went as far as "it's either buy.at, or someone who used to work for buy.at" :)
