It's been a while since I won anything so it was a very pleasant surprise to hear from DFDS Seaways when they drew their competition last week.

Since then, a very posh gold printed Harrods gift card arrived, complete with an equally posh card, ready to spend on whatever I choose.
 


The competition was to create some fresh content for the brand so I sat down and typed to my hearts content. Whilst it was great winning one of the two vouchers, it has amazed me how quickly Google has picked up the fresh content and how strongly it is ranking (and converting) for some good search terms. As such it's a double whammy for me - an immediate competition win and a long term investment in new profitable content.

I love content based incentives (I love incentives as a whole!) and find they are a great way to foster a better relationship with the brand and affiliate manager.

DFDS Seaways are renowned for running some excellent incentives so it shouldn't be too long before another one is underway so now is a great time to sign up for their affiliate program.
